Hebei Zhongnong Boyuan Agricultural Equipment Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of China Agricultural Means of Production Group Corporation, established in January 2011. It was jointly formed by China Agricultural Materials Group Corporation and Gaocheng Boyuan Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Machinery Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 50 million yuan. Zhongnong Boyuan is the flagship enterprise of Zhongnong Group entering the field of agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturing, carrying the mission of exploring new areas of agricultural machinery business, establishing a complete agricultural material industry chain, and achieving leapfrog development of the company. Zhongnong Boyuan is one of the earliest domestic enterprises to develop and manufacture corn combine harvesters. There are currently over 600 employees, including more than 110 middle and senior professional and technical personnel. The company has a provincial-level laboratory for grain and oil crop harvesting machinery, a provincial-level enterprise technology center, and a municipal level key laboratory for corn harvesters and silage harvesters, and has obtained more than 30 patents. The main products include: corn harvesters, corn kernel harvesters, silage harvesters, deep tillage machines, balers, new orchard machinery and other agricultural and animal husbandry machinery. In 1999, the 4YZ-3 self-propelled corn combine harvester jointly developed and produced by the company and the Ukrainian company Kherson Kambine won the National Ministry of Science and Technology Invention and Manufacturing Gold Award. The 4YZ-3 and 4YZ-4 self-propelled corn combine harvesters were rated as "National Key New Products" by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The 4QZ-1800 ensiling machine and the 92YG0.9 and 92YG1.5 round balers were officially selected as "Famous and Excellent New Mechanical and Electrical Products Catalogue" by the China Machinery Industry Quality Management Association. Zhongnong Boyuan has consistently ranked among the top in production and sales for many years, and has now become a backbone enterprise in the research and development of self-propelled corn harvesters in China. It has successfully bid for seven consecutive years in the Beijing Municipal Government's corn harvester project, and is one of the enterprises with high sales and ownership in major corn producing areas such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Gansu, and Mongolia. It is also a preferred brand for local agricultural machinery cooperatives and customers. In recent years, in response to the different agricultural practices, varieties, and harvesting methods in various regions, more than 20 types of corn harvesters have been launched in four major series: three row, four row, five row, six row, eight row, ear picking, peeling, stem ear harvesting, and direct threshing, which can meet the needs of users in different regions to the greatest extent possible. In 2015, Zhongnong Boyuan invested heavily in the construction of a modern agricultural equipment research and development manufacturing base covering an area of 615 acres, which was officially put into use. The base utilizes internationally advanced just in time and lean production management models, adopts information technology and intensive management techniques, and has modern assembly lines, international level electrophoretic coating lines, fully automated cutting production lines, stamping lines, welding lines, as well as sophisticated testing and debugging equipment. The annual output of various agricultural and animal husbandry machinery can reach 30000 units, laying a solid hardware foundation for the improvement of product research and assembly level of Zhongnong Boyuan.
