Introduction to drum dryer
Drum dryer, also known as rotary dryer, is mainly used to dry materials with high moisture content and high viscosity, such as lignite, coal slurry, sludge, fly ash, river sand, clay, mineral powder, slag, fruit residue, sawdust, etc. It is widely used in industries such as building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, cement, refractory materials, etc. The machine is mainly composed of rotating body, lifting plate, transmission device, support device, sealing ring and other components. It has the advantages of reasonable structure, excellent production, high output, low energy consumption, and convenient operation.

Working principle of rotary dryer
The heat source of the rotary dryer comes from the combustion device, and this dryer adopts a co current heating method. Therefore, the materials that need to be dried are pushed back by the spiral plate from the feeding box and the feeding chute into the cylinder. Due to the tilting of the dryer
On the one hand, the material flows towards the rear end under the action of gravity and rotation, and on the other hand, the material is repeatedly picked up by the plate, brought to the upper end and continuously lifted and scattered down, forming a uniform curtain inside the cylinder, fully flowing in with the hot air inside the cylinder
Through heat exchange, the moisture contained in the material is gradually dried due to repeated scattering, thus achieving the purpose of drying.
Main features of rotary dryer
1) Adopting a new combination of material lifting plate and central secondary lifting device, the material has no air holes and high heat exchange efficiency.
2) Multiple circumferential feeding combinations are distributed, effectively controlling drying time and achieving good drying effect.
3) The large gear ring and cylinder adopt a nested structure to ensure concentricity, completely solving the problems of difficulty in connecting flexible plates, installation and debugging, poor concentricity, and unstable operation.
4) Equipped with a high-temperature flue gas boiling furnace, the combustion is rapid, the heating is sufficient, the thermal efficiency is high, and the coal consumption is less than 10kg standard coal/ton dry material.
5) Integrating heating, drying, and dust collection into a whole system, achieving mechanization and automation of operations, and meeting environmental protection requirements.
6) Rotary dryer: simple structure, easy maintenance, and low maintenance costs.
7) Widely applicable, it can be used for drying clay, slag, iron powder, fly ash, and chemical industries.
