The ZFARM-2 remote monitoring area gamma measuring instrument is an integrated radiation monitoring system with three types of built-in gamma probes: low range, high range, and high sensitivity. It can also be equipped with external gamma or neutron probes, as well as an alarm light and an audible alarm device. The instrument can connect up to two probes, each of which can have its own alarm threshold set. Any abnormal situation in each channel can be indicated on the screen with an audible and visual alarm. The setting of instrument alarm threshold, date and time can be operated through physical buttons, and communication with the upper computer can be carried out through RS485 or wireless methods. The upper computer can operate all adjustable parameters of the instrument through software: control the instrument to start/stop measurement, set alarm threshold, set date and time, etc. The instrument is equipped with a built-in battery, which can be used continuously for 24 hours without connecting the power supply, and can be used as a portable dose rate meter.
