Wireless Ultrasonic Water Meter (NB IoT) is an intelligent measuring instrument composed of flow sensors, calculators, and wireless NB transmission modules. The calculator achieves accurate measurement of flow rate by processing the temperature difference collected by sensors and the time difference of sound waves passing through the fluid, and can wirelessly transmit data through wireless NB.

Installation requirements:
All components of the flowmeter (including flow sensor components and calculator components) should be installed in a location that avoids exposure to sunlight, flooding, freezing, chemical and electromagnetic pollution, and is convenient for disassembly and meter reading.
(1) Before installation, the system pipeline should be thoroughly cleaned to remove any debris such as hemp fibers, sand, and stones from the branch pipes, in order to prevent flow meter malfunctions;
(2) The table body should be installed horizontally or vertically, and the distance from the ground when installing the entrance meter should be less than 0.8m;
(3) The direction of water flow should be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the table body;
(4) The diameter of the front and rear pipes should match the diameter of the body;
(5) A straight pipe section with 10 times DN should be left in front of the meter body and 8 times DN should be left behind the meter body (DN is the nominal diameter of the flowmeter).
Daily maintenance:
1. After the installation and use of ultrasonic water meters, regular inspections should be conducted to check the operation status of the flow meter and whether the battery voltage is normal;
2. When the operation time of the ultrasonic water meter reaches 6 years or the display screen shows unclear data or prompts low battery (see display instructions), specialized technicians should replace the battery to avoid affecting the normal operation of the water meter.
Note:
1. The ultrasonic water meter battery should be replaced by a dedicated person, and users are not allowed to replace it themselves. If there is an undervoltage situation, you can directly contact the manufacturer;
2. The frequency of meter reading should not exceed once a day, as excessive reading can affect the battery's lifespan.
