WIKA BLR level gauge
The BLR series sensors/transmitters are used for continuous monitoring and recording of liquid level measurements. The sensing element is an equivalent three wire potentiometer circuit composed of a reed resistor chain (magnet, switch, and resistance measurement chain).
The float ball located inside the cavity of the magnetic flip column level gauge is equipped with a magnetic system, which triggers the dry spring contact on the resistance measurement chain (potentiometer) through the bypass tube wall and sensor tube wall. The resulting measurement voltage is directly proportional to the liquid level
The dry spring resistor chain consists of a dry spring and a resistor soldered onto a printed circuit board. There are various resolutions available from 5mm to 18mm depending on the requirements and design.
We provide application related technical advice for the sensor you choose (sensor model, junction box, outlet specifications, sensor (material and total length), spring spacing, built-in transmitter in junction box, measurement range, certification).
