Overview of Vortex Flow Meter Products
Vortex flowmeter is a new type of intelligent flow meter developed using the fluid Karman principle. This series of flow meters has the characteristics of simple structure, strong reliability, high accuracy, good repeatability, wide flow and temperature ranges, low pressure loss, anti vibration, and anti-aging. Especially the capacitive vortex flowmeter developed by our company, its unique internal structure gives the probe good seismic resistance and the ability to measure smaller flow rates, greatly improving the measurement range. The probe capacitor plate is made of imported ceramics and formed at a high temperature of over 1000 degrees Celsius, resulting in good high-temperature resistance. The process and structure of the core components are fundamentally different from domestic and foreign detection components, and have higher reliability. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for use in environments such as steel mills and coking plants, and can be widely applied in industries such as oil fields, petrochemicals, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, urban water supply, and heating.
Characteristics of Vortex Flow Meter Products
The output is a pulse frequency, which is proportional to the actual volumetric flow rate of the measured fluid and is not affected by fluid composition, density, pressure, or temperature;
No movable parts, high reliability;
● Simple structure, easy installation, and low maintenance costs;
Widely applicable, suitable for liquids, gases, and vapors (single-phase or media that can be considered single-phase).
Working principle of vortex flowmeter
Placing a (or multiple) non streamlined flow resistance fluid in the fluid, the fluid alternately separates and releases two sets of regular vortices on both sides of the resistance fluid. Within a certain flow range, the frequency of vortex separation is proportional to the parallel flow velocity in the pipeline. By installing a capacitive probe or piezoelectric probe (detector) and configuring the corresponding circuit in the vortex generator, a capacitive detection type vortex flow sensor or a piezoelectric detection type vortex flow sensor is formed.
Capacitive/piezoelectric differential vortex flowmeter can be divided into full tube type, plug-in type, and split type according to different usage scenarios. In situations where it is not convenient to provide power, battery powered on-site LCD display type can be used, and variable output current signals or frequency signals can be sent for recording, adjustment and control purposes.
The capacitive/piezoelectric differential vortex flowmeter adopts the latest embedded technology and can measure flow, pressure, and temperature signals. It uses RS485 or RS232 communication interfaces for convenient networking; The transmission function of the flowmeter is suitable for various distributed control systems and can also be combined with the upper level to form a flow data acquisition system.
