Vicometo VM-S series "drying method" halogen moisture analyzerUsing an efficient drying heater - a high-quality ring halogen lamp, the sample is rapidly and uniformly heated, and the moisture content of the sample is continuously dried. The entire measurement process is fast, automatic, and simple, and the instrument displays real-time measurement results: moisture value MC%, solid content DC%, sample initial value g, final value g, measurement time s, temperature final value ℃, trend curve, and other data.
The instrument can input data to printers, computers, PLCs, etc. through RS232 serial ports, and can quickly determine the moisture content in solids, liquids, and powders within a few minutes (for most samples). Product Operation
instrument calibrationSteps:
First, assemble the moisture analyzer and connect it to the power supply. Turn on the power switch
Ø 1. Long press and hold "TAL" on VM-5S until "- cal 100-" is displayed
For other models, simply click the "Calibration" button on the interface to display cal 100
2. After placing 100g weights, click the calibration function button
Ø 3. Automatic calibration of instruments
Ø 4. Calibration completed with "100000" displayed, single point calibration completed

Sample determination steps:
Ø 1. Cover the sampling cover with a heating hood
Ø 2. Set the required heating temperature in advance, such as "105 degrees Celsius"
Ø 3. After waiting for the numerical stability, press the "Start" button to start the measurement
Ø 4. The measurement is completed and the instrument displays the measurement results

Precautions
l、 Halogen moisture analyzer is used to measure the moisture and solid content in samples. Any other use may cause harm to individuals and damage to the instrument.2. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use and do not use it in environments that do not meet the requirements (electromagnetic force, wind, vibration, etc.). Adequate space should be ensured around the instrument to prevent heat accumulation and overheating
4. Do not place flammable materials around the instrument as the area around the heating unit may become hot
5. After the test is completed, due to the fact that the sample itself, heating unit, and its container will still be very hot, caution should be taken when removing the sample
6. During the heating and drying process, the unconditional temperature of the circular heating will reach 400 ℃. Therefore, do not open or touch the heating unit. 8. Samples that are prone to water absorption and moisture regain are recommended to be placed inside a vacuum glove box for operational testing
