Ultra precision bi-directional angular contact thrust ball bearing
The bi-directional thrust angular contact ball bearing is designed for bi-directional positioning of the main shaft. These bearings are combined with NN 30 K or N 10 K series cylindrical roller bearings and installed in the same bearing seat hole. This type of bearing combination can simplify the machining of bearing seat holes.
The nominal inner and outer diameters of bidirectional thrust angular contact ball bearings are the same as those of corresponding cylindrical roller bearings. However, the outer diameter tolerance of the seat ring is combined with the recommended bearing seat aperture and form and position tolerances for ultra precision cylindrical roller bearings to provide an appropriate radial clearance for the bearing seat aperture. If the outer ring is not axially compressed in the bearing seat, this clearance is sufficient to prevent the thrust bearing from bearing radial loads.
Bearing characteristics:
Capable of withstanding axial and radial loads
High load-bearing capacity
High axial stiffness
Low Friction
High speed performance
Types of thrust angular contact ball bearings
Thrust angular contact ball bearings have multiple designs and sizes, with a maximum outer diameter of 1800 mm, and there are two main designs:
Unidirectional angular contact thrust ball bearing
Bidirectional angular contact thrust ball bearing
In addition to the bearings introduced in this chapter, ultra precision angular contact thrust bearings for special applications (such as machine tools) are shown in this chapter as follows:
Bidirectional bearings
Unidirectional and bidirectional bearings and sleeve devices with flange type bearing seats for screw drive
