All vehicles are prohibited from turning left (or right) at the intersection ahead. Set in an appropriate position in front of intersections where turning to the left (or right) is prohibited. When there are special regulations such as time and vehicle type, auxiliary signs or additional patterns should be used for explanation.
1. The prohibition sign represents the meaning of prohibition, restriction, and corresponding lifting, and road users should strictly comply with it.
2. The color of the prohibition sign, except for a few signs, is white background, red circle, red bar, black graphic, and graphic pressure bar.
3. The shape of the prohibition sign is circular, but the "parking yield sign" is octagonal, and the "deceleration yield sign" is an inverted equilateral triangle with a downward vertex.
4. The size of the prohibition sign is specified in relevant regulations.
5. The prohibition sign is set up near the starting point of the prohibited, restricted, and corresponding lifting sections.
6. For road sections where vehicles cannot pass without taking a detour in advance, corresponding warning or detour signs should be set up in front of or at an appropriate location at the intersection of the prohibited road section.
7. Unless otherwise specified, no graphics or text are allowed to be attached to the prohibition sign.
8. When it is necessary to use prohibition signs other than those specified in this section, in addition to following the recommended procedures in Appendix A of GB 5768.1-2009, the following general principles should be followed:
a) Comply with the provisions of Chapter 3;
b) The content of the logo should be presented in graphic form as much as possible, and should be accompanied by textual explanations;
c) When using only text, the logo is white background, red circle, red bar, black text, and the shape is circular or rectangular
