Usage description:
Stainless steel pressure gauges with outer shells are widely used in industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical, synthetic fiber, metallurgy, and power stations to measure the pressure of various fluid media in processes that require high corrosion resistance and vibration resistance.
Structure and principle:
The instrument consists of a pressure guiding system (including joints, spring tubes, throttle screws, etc.), a gear transmission mechanism, a reading device (pointer and dial), and a housing (including case, cover, glass, etc.). The outer shell is of an airtight structure, which can effectively protect the internal components from environmental influences and contamination invasion. For instruments that are filled with liquid (usually silicone oil or glycerin) inside the casing, they can resist the effects of severe vibrations and pressure fluctuations in the working environment. The working principle of the instrument is the same as that of a general pressure gauge and an anti vibration pressure gauge.
Instructions for use:
1. The instrument should be installed vertically at the same level as the measuring point, otherwise additional errors caused by liquid level differences should be taken into account as appropriate.
When measuring stable pressure, the instrument can be used within the range of 1/4 to 3/4 of its upper limit of scale; When measuring alternating or pulsating pressure, it is advisable to not exceed 1/2 of the upper limit of the scale; For measuring negative pressure (i.e. vacuum), this limitation is not applicable.
3. Before use, the instrument should be carefully verified for the degree of corrosion caused by the measured medium, in order to avoid early corrosion and rupture of the spring tube.
4. Instruments filled with liquid inside the casing should be avoided from use in environments with strong oxidants such as oxygen, chlorine, nitric acid, and hydrogen peroxide to prevent chemical reactions with the liquid inside the instrument.
If it is necessary to open the cover of the instrument during regular maintenance, special tools should be used. For the liquid filled case, the protective plug on the case should be removed first, the filling liquid should be poured out, and then the watch cover should be opened.
If the reading of the liquid filling instrument is inaccurate due to the temperature influence of the measured medium or environment, the protrusion of the protective plug on the case can be cut off.
