Ref1510 pressure specific gravity meter
Simple specific gravity meters (such as Ref1501 and 1503) are only suitable for measuring samples without ventilation. Substances that may be mixed with certain gases or air during production can only be accurately measured by Ref1510.
The volume of this specific gravity meter is 100CC, which can drive away air or other gases dissolved in the measured substance through high pressure. At this time, the volume is the true volume of the measured substance, and the calculated specific gravity is the true specific gravity. The repeatability of this test is very good.

Instructions for use

  1. Weigh the weight of a clean and dry hydrometer (all components) and record the reading
  2. Rotate handle A counterclockwise to move the pressure starting chamber away
  3. Remove the pressure starting cap B
  4. Rotate handle D counterclockwise and release piston C
  5. Fill the cylinder with the sample to be tested until it is full, and confirm that the temperature being tested is correct
  6. Pick up the pressure starting cap B and the pressure starting chamber, place them back in their original correct positions, confirm that the cap is aligned with the center of the cup, and then rotate the handle A clockwise to start the pressure
  7. After 30 minutes, the temperature of the densitometer and sample reaches*
  8. Grasp the densitometer tightly and slowly rotate handle D clockwise to increase the pressure inside the cylinder to 10.3 bar (150 p.s.i). Use another container to receive the overflowing sample
  9. Wipe dry the sample overflowing from the densitometer

10) Weigh the specific gravity meter again and record the jade value
11) The weight of the sample is the weight of the full cup minus the weight of the empty cup
