The newly designed SNB series digital rotational viscometer not only has modern aesthetic elements in appearance, but also has more convenient operation, more accurate measurement values, and more complete functions.

Adopting high-performance imported microcomputer chips, imported stepper motors and other key components, it has functions such as LCD backlight display, program setting, automatic control, timed measurement, automatic scanning, and error alarm. The screen directly displays information such as viscosity, temperature, timed measurement time, speed, rotor number, percentage specific torque, and the viscosity range that can be measured by the selected range. The full range and linearity of each gear of the viscometer are automatically calibrated by a computer based on the standard values of standard silicone oil, ensuring that the instrument has high sensitivity, high accuracy, and high repeatability. The measured data is accurate, reliable, and has good repeatability.

The SNB series viscometer can measure the viscosity of Newtonian liquids or the apparent viscosity of non Newtonian liquids. By using viscometer data processing software, the rheological properties of non Newtonian liquids can be analyzed.

Attachment 2: Introduction to Viscometer Data Processing Software

There are two types of liquids: Newtonian liquids and non Newtonian liquids. The viscosity of Newtonian liquids is only related to temperature and decreases with increasing temperature. The viscosity of non Newtonian liquids is not only related to temperature, but also to shear rate, time, and changes in shear thinning or thickening. Pure liquids and solutions of low molecular weight substances belong to Newtonian liquids; Most liquids, such as polymer solutions, colloidal solutions, emulsions, suspensions, ointments, and heterogeneous solid-liquid systems, flow as non Newtonian liquids.

Ordinary digital viscometers without data processing functions measure the viscosity value at a certain point (at a specific temperature and time shear rate). If the tested sample is a Newtonian liquid, the viscosity value remains constant at a constant temperature, and the value at a certain point represents the viscosity of the liquid. However, if measuring non Newtonian liquids with viscosity that varies with speed, rotor, and time, it is much more difficult to obtain an accurate value.

Ordinary viscometers can measure the viscosity of Newtonian liquids, but they are not capable of measuring the apparent viscosity of non Newtonian liquids. Because ordinary viscometers have constantly changing viscosity data when testing non Newtonian liquids, it is difficult to obtain an accurate value.
The viscosity meter data processing software provided by our company is designed to accurately measure and comprehensively reflect the rheological properties of non Newtonian liquids. The main features of this data processing software are:
