measuring principle
The liquid level (or material level) is measured by radar signals emitted from the antenna at the top of the storage tank. After the radar signal is reflected by the liquid surface, the antenna receives the echo. Due to the changing frequency of the signal, the frequency of the echo is slightly different from the moment of signal transmission. The frequency difference is proportional to the distance to the liquid and can be accurately calculated. This method is called frequency modulated continuous wave(FMCW)Applied to all high-performance radar level gauges.
