2Mobile and automatic seat measurement
The mobile repeatable positioning measuring seat can place the measuring head in720One of the positions, so measurements can be taken from multiple angles. The repeatability of the measuring seat allows these positions to be recalled without recalibration, saving operation time and enabling the use of the measuring head at the most suitable angle to achieve the most accurate results.

3Servo measuring seat
The mobile servo measuring seat provides unlimited angular position, suitable for horizontal measuring arm coordinate measuring machines.
4. Trigger probe
Triggered probes for measuring discrete points are an ideal choice for detecting three-dimensional geometric workpieces.
Renishaw offers a comprehensive range of systems with ideal cost-effectiveness, allowing for simple performance testing on manual coordinate measuring machines and complex contour measurements on CNC high-speed machines.

5. Scanning probe
Scanning probe is a miniature measuring instrument that can collect hundreds of surface points per second and measure shape, size, and position. Scanning probes can also be used to collect discrete points, similar to trigger probes.RenishawProvides a range of solutions for coordinate measuring machines of various sizes and configurations to choose from.

SP80 probe: shaft sleeve mounted scanning probe, providing first-class performance with a long measuring needle.
Scanning principle
Scanning measurement provides a method for high-speed acquisition of shape and contour data from regular or other complex workpieces.
The trigger probe can collect discrete points on the surface, while the scanning system can obtain a large amount of surface data, providing more detailed information about the shape of the workpiece. Therefore, in practical applications, if the shape of the workpiece is an important consideration factor in the overall error budget or complex surfaces must be inspected, scanning measurement is an ideal choice. Scanning requires fundamentally different sensor designs, machine controls, and data analysis methods.RenishawThe scanning probe features a unique lightweight passive mechanism (without a motor or locking mechanism) with high natural frequency, suitable for high-speed scanning measurement. The separated optical measurement system directly measures the deformation of the measuring needle (without the need for the superposition axis in the measuring head mechanism) to achieve higher accuracy and faster dynamic response.
How does the scanning system collect and analyze surface data?
The scanning probe provides continuous offset output, which is combined with the machine position to obtain surface position data. When conducting scanning measurements, the probe tip begins to make contact with the workpiece and then moves along the surface of the workpiece to collect measurement data. During the entire measurement process, the offset of the probe and needle must be kept within the measurement range of the probe. To achieve the best measurement results, sensors need to be tightly integrated with machine control, as well as advanced filtering operations to convert synthesized data into usable surface information. The scanning driven algorithm is applicable to workpiece contour measurement. Change the scanning speed to match the change of curvature (the flatter the surface, the faster the speed), and then adjust the data acquisition rate (the faster the surface changes, the more data collected).
