Precision Space Light Delay Line Optical Delay Line ODL is a device produced by Mesa Photonics that controls optical path changes through software to achieve spatial light delay. It has a wide range of applications in optical detection fields such as Terahertz Time Domain Spectroscopy (THzGTDS), Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), and Ultra Fast Time Resolution Spectroscopy In a typical terahertz (THz) time-domain spectroscopy system, the ODL device achieves optical delay by driving a mirror on a micro displacement platform through a stepper motor. Due to the high reliability and low cost of micro displacement technology, this method is widely used. The price is affordable, but it combines high precision, high speed, optical stability, and functionality excellently. Very suitable for pump detection, autocorrelation measurement, and ultra short laser pulse measurement (interference and intensity methods). Advanced voice coil technology enables optical delay line ODLODL to have an accuracy of 150 nanometers. The bidirectional transmission optical path resolution is 1 femtosecond The response time is only 1ms, but it is very stable for DC.
