For ODS detection, Spectrum Technology has developed the Pre 4100 Environmental Air Ozone Deplete Pre Concentrator, which meets the technical requirements of the "Technical Specification for Manual Monitoring of Ozone Depleting Substances and Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases in Environmental Air" and the "Technical Specification for Automatic Monitoring of Controlled Halogen Compounds in Low Temperature Pre Concentrate Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry in Background Atmosphere (Trial) (Draft for Comments)". It can monitor all six categories of ODS controlled by the Montreal Protocol, including NF3 and CF4, and all four categories of fluorinated greenhouse gases controlled by the Kyoto Protocol.
