PTC system
The PTC (Positive Train Control) system is an integrated system that integrates subsystems such as train scheduling, control, and communication to ensure the safe, reliable, accurate, and effective operation of trains.
The PTC train control system developed by Hollysys strictly adheres to the fault safety design principle based on the requirements proposed by FRA (Federal Railway Commission) to prevent train collisions, overspeed derailment, protect railway workers from train collisions, and prevent trains from entering restricted areas, ensuring safe operation while also having cost and maintenance advantages.
Main characteristics
-
Based on wireless communication
Train operation control system based entirely on wireless communication
-
precise positioning
Using positioning systems such as Beidou/GPS to achieve train positioning
-
data transmission
Establish data transmission for central, onboard, and trackside equipment through dedicated or public wireless communication networks
-
reduce costs
No track circuit/axle counter on the ground, scattered arrangement of trackside signal equipment, significantly reducing costs
-
efficiency
The system has a wide range of applications, a small number of devices, easy maintenance, and can achieve fast engineering configuration according to different user needs
