The photoelectric passive direct reading remote water meter is a direct reading water meter developed by our company using photoelectric direct reading technology, which is convenient for remote meter reading. The remote reading of water meters can be achieved through the post-processing system, effectively solving the problem of difficult on-site meter reading for management departments and greatly improving meter reading efficiency.
There is a photoelectric module installed inside the water meter. The photoelectric module adopts the principle of photoelectric encoder. Each character wheel with a transparent groove is used as a code wheel. Five emission tubes and five reception tubes are placed on both sides of the character wheel. During meter reading, the emission tubes will be lit up, and the light emitted by the emission tubes will shine on the end face of the character wheel. Due to the different positions of the character wheel, different code channels will be generated, thus producing the effects of light transmission and light blocking. In this way, the receiving tube at the other end of the character wheel will receive a set of light and dark signals. Based on this set of signals from the receiving tube, a set of five bit codes can be generated, which are then decoded and converted into the reading of the character wheel, thus obtaining the reading of the water meter.
Due to the direct reading of character wheel data, the mechanical and electronic readings remain completely consistent;
The water meter works normally without a power supply and consumes no power. It can be powered instantly during meter reading;
The M-Bus bus water meter adopts a plug-in waterproof plug form bus, which is extremely convenient for construction, debugging, and meter replacement. It is not only reliable but also greatly reduces construction difficulty and workload.
