Turbidity meter is an online monitoring instrument designed to measure the turbidity of water in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment processes. The principle that the transmittance of light is proportional to the turbidity of the measured wastewater is adopted. Can be applied to detect turbidity changes in biochemical treatment processes, providing continuous and accurate measurement results. Turbidity is a scattering phenomenon caused by colloidal particles suspended in water. Turbidity in water is mainly caused by substances such as soil, organic matter, and microorganisms. An increase in turbidity indicates that the water is contaminated with colloidal substances.
