Fluorescence method for dissolved oxygen

The fluorescence based dissolved oxygen analyzer is based on the quenching principle of specific substances on active fluorescence in physics. The modulated green light shines on the fluorescent substance to excite it and emit red light. Due to the quenching effect, oxygen molecules can take away energy, so the time and intensity of exciting red light are inversely proportional to the concentration of oxygen molecules. We used a red light source synchronized with green light as a reference, measured the phase difference between the excitation red light and the reference light, and compared it with the internal calibration value to calculate the concentration of oxygen molecules, and output the final value after temperature compensation. Dissolved oxygen (DO) is an indicator for evaluating the self purification capacity of water bodies. A high dissolved oxygen content indicates a strong self purification ability of the water body; On the contrary, it means that pollutants in the water are not easily oxidized and decomposed, and anaerobic bacteria will multiply in large numbers, causing the water quality to become foul smelling. Widely used in industries, agriculture, scientific research, environmental protection, and other fields.
