The ion selective sensor is directly installed in the activated sludge tank of the sewage treatment plant for measurement, without any sample pretreatment or sample transmission. The entire measurement system includes sensors and transmitters: the sensors contain electrodes, and the transmitters come with display and operation units. Sensors are used to monitor nitrate concentration: at the outlet of sludge tanks and primary sedimentation tanks.
