working principle:

The instrument is rotated at a stable speed by a synchronous motor, connected to a dial, and then driven to rotate by a balance spring and a shaft. If the rotor is not subjected to liquid resistance, the balance spring, pointer, and dial rotate at the same speed, and the pointer indicates a reading of "0" on the dial On the contrary, if the rotor is subjected to the viscous resistance of the liquid, the balance spring generates torque, which counteracts the viscous resistance and reaches equilibrium. At this time, the pointer connected to the balance spring indicates a certain reading on the dial (i.e. the torsion angle of the balance spring)Multiplying the reading by a specific coefficient yields the viscosity of the liquid

The speed of this instrument is adjusted by the gear system and clutch through the speed control knob, and it is equipped with four types of rotors, 1-4, which can be selected according to the height of the measured liquid and the speed; It is equipped with a pointer fixed control mechanism for reading. When the speed is too fast (30 revolutions per minute, 60 revolutions per minute), reading cannot be performed during rotation. At this time, the pointer control lever can be gently pressed to fix the pointer for easy reading; It is also equipped with fixed brackets and lifting mechanisms, which should be fixed for small and constant temperature measurements in the laboratory Fix the instrument on the bracket to ensure measurement accuracy; The helical gear and damping lifting mechanism ensure smooth lifting and lowering of the instrument; Extension cords are convenient for use when the container of the measured liquid is large and the liquid level is low, as well as when the temperature of the measured liquid is too high
