working principle:

The instrument is rotated at a stable speed by a synchronous motor, connected to a dial, and then driven to rotate by a balance spring and a shaft. If the rotor is not subjected to liquid resistance, the balance spring, pointer, and dial rotate at the same speed, and the pointer indicates a reading of "0" on the dial On the contrary, if the rotor is subjected to the viscous resistance of the liquid, the balance spring generates torque, which counteracts the viscous resistance and reaches equilibrium.
