(1) Lighting source
The illumination of the microscope can be provided by natural or artificial light sources
1Natural light source
The light comes from the sky and is reflected by white clouds. Do not use direct sunlight.
2Artificial light source
① Basic requirements for artificial light sources: sufficient luminous intensity; The light source should not generate too much heat.
② Common artificial light sources: microscope light; fluorescent lamp
(2) Optical filter
Installed between the light source and the condenser. The function is to allow light from a selected wavelength band to pass through while absorbing other light, that is, to change the spectral composition of light or weaken its intensity. Divided into two categories: optical filters and liquid filters.
(3) Cover glass and slide glass
The surface of cover glass and slide glass should be relatively flat, without bubbles or scratches. Choose colorless and transparent products, and wash them thoroughly before use.
The standard thickness for cover glass is0.17±0.02mmIf the cover glass is not used or the thickness of the cover glass is inappropriate, it will affect the imaging quality.
The standard thickness for glass slides is1.1±0.04mmThe general available range is1—1.2mmIf it is too thick, it will affect the efficiency of the concentrator, and if it is too thin, it is easy to break.Technical extension, welcome to log in:
