The turbine/ultrasonic metering system generally consists of several subsystems, including filtration system, metering system, flow comparison system, gas chromatography analysis system, online calibration system, venting system, gas leakage alarm system, etc. The accuracy of the filtration system is more stringent compared to other situations. In addition to using turbine flow meters or gas ultrasonic flow meters, the metering system also needs to use straight pipe sections that meet the requirements, and be matched with a flow computer for gas temperature and pressure compensation for flow calculation. The gas component signal is detected by an online gas chromatography analyzer to determine the gas composition. Flow comparison is the process of connecting two or more flow meters in series to achieve the purpose of comparison, while online calibration systems reserve online calibration ports on the system according to process requirements. In principle, the venting system adopts centralized venting, while the gas leakage alarm system can be interlocked with the main valve and venting system. When a leakage danger occurs on site, the station control system commands the main valve to close and opens the venting system for emergency venting.
This system first has high requirements for flow meters, straight pipe sections, gas analyzers, and rectifiers. Secondly, the shut-off valves before and after the flow meters are very important and require zero leakage. Finally, the technical level and installation accuracy of the manufacturing plant also have a direct impact on the accuracy of the measurement system. The above principles are the most basic requirements for ensuring the measurement accuracy of the system.
