MRIn situ observation of micro root window root systemsystem
1、 Micro root window technology
Root systems and mycorrhizae are crucial for plant performance and various ecosystem and biogeochemical processes. Therefore, observing the development of root systems is crucial for understanding the plant growth of natural and artificial ecosystems (crops, etc.) and revealing the dynamic processes of water, carbon, and nitrogen in terrestrial ecosystems. Non destructive root and rhizosphere imaging can be used to measure a series of processes, organisms, and events under controllable conditions or abiotic and biotic stresses, including root development, turnover, distribution (root architecture), as well as the emergence of mycorrhizal root tips, hyphal development, and even the development of rhizobia and soil animals.
However, observing the "hidden half" of the ecosystem covered by soil is not an easy task. The micro window tube system is a qualitative and quantitative observation tool for in-situ recording, studying the growth, lifespan, and distribution of roots and hyphae. The micro root window system first requires manual or mechanical embedding of transparent tubes (micro root tubes) into the soil, and then the micro root window imaging device is inserted into the micro root tube to capture images of the root system and rhizosphere through the transparent tube wall. The image will be saved and processed by the control unit next.
Using the MR micro root window root in-situ observation system to capture full HD images of roots and mycorrhizal hyphae in soil will enable you to fully grasp the growth, development, and turnover processes of roots in multiple seasons.
Beijing Yiketai Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. has been providing BTC100 micro root window root observation instrument technology and services to China for nearly 20 years, and has collaborated with Austrian partners to develop and produce high-resolution instrumentsMiniRThe hizotron micro root window root in-situ observation system collects images of roots and mycorrhizal hyphae in soil in full HD without damage, comprehensively analyzing the growth, development, and turnover processes of roots in different seasons
MRThe micro root window system continues the design concept and advantages of the authoritative micro root window product BTC100 in the industry, updates high-definition micro lenses, more portable and innovative positioning handles and rings, and is more compact, lightweight, easy to carry, sturdy and durable. Based on decades of experience in promoting and developing BTC micro root window and soil product technology, we provide customized micro root window technology support and products. The modular design facilitates the assembly of highly customized equipment for customers, meeting different research and funding needs. Our micro root window camera can be used for commonly used 5 or 6cm inner diameter micro root canals, meeting the continued use of existing root canals and easy upgrading of existing camera systems. We can also customize micro root window systems for other inner diameter micro root canals according to your requirements.
