Renishaw laser interferometer
Laser interferometer, using laser wavelength as a known length, is a universal length measurement for measuring displacement using Michelson interferometer system. Laser interferometers are mainly used for geometric accuracy detection and can be used to detect straightness, perpendicularity, pitch and yaw, flatness, parallelism, etc. It can synchronously measure the positioning accuracy of a large gantry mobile CNC machine tool driven by dual servo for one axial movement, and can automatically compensate for linear errors in both axes through RS232 interface. The dynamic performance testing of CNC machine tools is carried out using RENISHAW dynamic characteristic measurement and evaluation software. Laser interferometers can be used for machine tool vibration testing and analysis (FFT), dynamic characteristic analysis of ball screws, response characteristic analysis of servo drive systems, and dynamic characteristic analysis of guide rails (low-speed crawling).
