summaryGPRS Internet of Things Water Meter (hereinafter referred to as IP Water Meter) is a remote water meter developed for the practical needs of intelligent management of water supply companies, which is convenient for remote meter reading and control. It adopts our company's direct reading water meter as the measurement basis, and automatically communicates with the network through GPRS to achieve automatic remote meter reading of the water meter usage, effectively avoiding the need for management departments to come to the door for meter reading. This product also has valve control function (optional), which facilitates the management department to control the water usage of the water meter and expand the prepaid function, making remote meter reading and control more convenient and reliable. While saving manpower, material resources, and financial resources, it effectively improves production efficiency.
This IP water meter complies with the technical requirements of GB/T778-2007 "Measurement of Water Flow in Closed Full Pipelines - Drinking Cold Water and Hot Water Meters" and CJ/T224-2012 "Electronic Remote Water Meters". The communication protocol follows the "130 Communication Protocol Specification" and can also be customized according to user needs.

Wake button: used to trigger the wake-up of the meter terminal during debugging;

Before installing the IP water meter, it is necessary to first read and record the meter address to ensure that the electronic code inside the meter is consistent with the dial serial number;
The installation of IP water meters must comply with the installation requirements of GB/T778.2.
The diameter of the IP water meter should be determined based on the diameter of the installation pipeline and the commonly used flow rate that is less than or close to the commonly used flow rate of the IP water meter. The installation location should be convenient for disassembly and reading.
The IP water meter must be installed horizontally, with the water flow direction consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow, and ensuring that the reading dial of the meter head is facing upwards.
Before installing a new IP water meter, the sand, gravel, hemp fibers, and other debris in the pipeline should be removed first to avoid causing water meter malfunction.
Insert the meter connector into the connector nut and install it onto the pipeline. Then twist the connector nut to install the IP water meter onto the pipeline, keeping the reading dial of the IP water meter level and upward. When connecting the water meter to the pipeline, excessive bending force should be avoided to avoid damaging the interface of the IP water meter and breaking it.
