LEBEN+CO was founded in 1967. LEBEN produces hydraulic industrial shock absorbers, vibration dampers, buffers, deformation tubes, and static/viscoelastic dampers according to specific customer requirements. In the early years, this family run company developed products such as ski slope grooming machines for downhill skiing. Since 1980,LEBEN+COWe specialize in developing and manufacturing shock absorber components and dampers under the Compensor brand. The successful customer relationships established over 50 years and the continuous development of products for a wide range of applications have confirmed our strength and expertise in the field of damping technology.
LEBEN+COThe damping element is calculated according to VDI guideline VDI 2061 "Components for reducing impact effects". LEBEN's products comply with the relevant provisions of the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.LEBEN+COPassed DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, which is a recognition of LEBEN's quality policy. In order to meet the diverse applications of damping technology,LEBEN+COProvide different types of shock absorbers, including: gas-liquid heavy-duty shock absorbers, emergency shock absorbers as terminal stop devices (emergency stop at terminal position), operable shock absorber shock absorbers, and irreversible shock absorbers. LEBEN provides Compensol, a damping medium that can be used at high or low temperatures,LEBEN+COThe goal is to meet the personalized needs of customers!
The application of LEBEN industrial shock absorbers: industrial, light to heavy machinery engineering, heavy-duty, conveying technology, railway, construction, etc.
In order to meet the diverse applications of damping technology, LEBEN offers different types of shock absorbers, including: gas-liquid heavy-duty shock absorbers, emergency shock absorbers as terminal stop devices (emergency stop at terminal position), operable pressurized shock absorbers, and irreversible shock absorbers.
The shock absorber components of LEBEN adopt the working principle of integrated spring dampers, which are called static pressure, viscoelastic, elastic fluid shock absorbers or fluid elastic buffer. This type is available in the compression direction (ED series name) and/or stretching direction (EZ series).
Generally speaking, our fluid elastic buffer has the following main components: container (cylinder), compressed fluid filling preload, high-pressure sealing system, piston, piston rod, and guide bearing.
Variable parameters include cylinder volume, piston and piston rod diameter, preload, and throttling effect, so that the viscoelastic spring damper can meet your application requirements.
Advantage:
Use in the direction of stretching and compression ("stretching and compression")
Variable characteristic curve (linear, asymptotic, approximate horizontal, or decreasing)
Small design, high energy absorption
The pre tensioning force of the spring is very high (depending on the application and the individual restoring force of the piston rod)
Integrated spring reset, no need for additional gas springs or mechanical coil springs
High viscosity elastic fluid can improve leakage safety
Maintenance free operation
The functional principle of ED/EZ series:
Highly viscous elastic fluids enable fluid elastic dampers to be constructed based on the principle of static water compression.
Suspension: The movement of the piston rod reduces the volume of the cylinder filled with silicone elastomer. Compressing fluid can cause an increase in internal pressure and counteract the movement of the piston. This is called compressibility.
Damping: The movement of the piston generates a flow pattern along the piston (using throttle holes or annular clearances). The piston reaction force generated by laminar flow and viscosity depends on the velocity of motion.
