The H-shaped finned tube waste heat boiler is a specialized energy-saving product designed specifically for the recovery of flue gas waste heat in power generation units. By using H-shaped finned tubes to strengthen heat transfer elements and expand the heating surface, the heating surface on the smoke side of the water pipe is greatly increased. 3. When the rib spacing and rib height are the same, the expansion area of H-shaped finned tubes is 37% larger than that of spiral finned tubes. For spiral finned tubes, increasing the rib height further makes it difficult to wind the fins, while increasing the rib height of H-shaped finned tubes does not increase the manufacturing difficulty. Therefore, for designers, to continue increasing the area in a limited space, they can only choose to reduce the rib pitch for spiral finned tubes, while for H-shaped finned tubes, they can choose to reduce the rib pitch or increase the rib height. Therefore, H-shaped finned tubes can more conveniently adjust the heating area.

Product advantages:
1) High heat exchange efficiency. The fusion rate between fins and steel pipes is over 95%, with low contact thermal resistance and good thermal conductivity. Although the airflow disturbance caused by the absence of spiral finned tubes weakens the heat transfer outside the tube to some extent, due to the approximately parallel flow characteristics of the airflow between the heat transfer tube bundles, there is less ash accumulation on the heat transfer surface during operation, and the fins are more evenly flushed. The effective utilization rate of the H-shaped fin expansion area is higher than that of spiral finned tubes, and the comprehensive heat transfer efficiency is about 10% higher than that of spiral finned tube bundles.

2) Low flow resistance. Due to the approximately square structure of H-shaped finned tubes, when assembled into a heat exchanger, the tube bundles are divided into numerous small channels by fins, which have a certain uniform effect on the airflow. The airflow is approximately longitudinally parallel, and the airflow resistance is relatively small. On the other hand, spiral finned tube bundles have strong airflow disturbance and high turbulence due to the guiding nature of the fins, resulting in high airflow resistance. Under the same design flow rate, the flow resistance of H-shaped finned tube bundles is significantly reduced compared to spiral finned tube bundles.

3) Less dust accumulation. Smoke contains fly ash, which is generally easy to deposit on the windward and leeward sides of the pipe bundle. The higher the smoke flow rate, the less ash accumulation, and vice versa. If the airflow is uneven, areas with less airflow will accumulate severe dust. Spiral finned tube bundles have a guiding effect on airflow, resulting in uneven and disordered airflow, which can easily cause severe dust accumulation in local areas. On the other hand, H-shaped finned tube bundles have both uniform and parallel flow characteristics, making it less likely to cause severe dust accumulation in local areas. Fly ash can be carried away with the airflow in a timely manner. So compared to spiral finned tube heat exchangers, H-shaped finned tube heat exchangers have less ash accumulation.

4) Light wear and tear. The flue gas contains fly ash particles, which flow at high speed with the airflow and collide with the pressure pipe wall, causing wear on the heat transfer pipe. The heat exchanger composed of H-shaped finned tubes divides the space into several small areas with fins, which have both uniform and downstream effects on the airflow. Compared with spiral finned heat exchangers, the wear is uniform and lighter, and the service life of the equipment is improved.

5) Small in size and lightweight. H-shaped finned tubes have a high area expansion rate, less ash accumulation, and high heat transfer efficiency. When the heat transfer capacity is equivalent, the space occupied by the heat exchanger can be reduced, and the use of high-grade materials (i.e. pressure tubes) can be minimized as much as possible, while low-grade materials (fins) are more commonly used. For new engineering projects, the height of the heat exchanger layout can be reduced, the overall weight can be greatly reduced, the suspension system load can be lowered, and the overall cost can be lowered; For renovation projects, it is possible to arrange as much heat exchange area as possible in a limited space, reduce exhaust gas temperature, improve waste heat recovery efficiency, or increase maintenance space for easy maintenance.
