KGQ5 Automatic Transfer Switch (ATSE) is an automatic transfer switch that integrates switch and logic control without the need for an external controller, truly realizing mechatronics integration. It is suitable for industrial distribution equipment with rated AC voltage of 50Hz, 440V, and agreed heating current up to 1600A. It has functions such as voltage detection, communication interface, and electrical mechanical interlock, and can realize automatic, electric remote, and forced "0" emergency manual operation. It is widely used for automatic transfer of main power supply and backup or automatic transfer and safety isolation of two load devices in power supply systems. The switch is managed by various logical commands issued by the control circuit board to control the motor. The motor drives the operating mechanism of the switch body to quickly connect and disconnect the circuit or perform circuit conversion, achieving safe isolation through obvious visible states.

Switch structure description

1. Electrical key lock: controls the power supply of the internal control circuit of the switch. When the electrical lock is turned on, the switch can achieve full movement and strong "0". Operation: When the electrical lock is turned off, the switch can only be manually operated.

2. Operating handle: When manually operating with the operating handle, the electrical lock must be turned off first.

3. Cabinet padlock: maintenance specific, which means first use the operating handle to place the switch in the "0" position, then connect the padlock mechanism and lock it before maintenance can be carried out (connecting the padlock will cut off the internal control power supply of the switch, and the switch cannot be automatic or manually operated).

4. Indicator: Indicate the working status position of the switch (I, 0, II)

Usage

SWITCH

1. Fully automatic function: When the common power supply is cut off, the switch automatically switches to the backup power supply; When the common power supply returns to normal, the switch automatically switches back to the common power supply.

2. Strong "0" function: Activate the strong "0" button, and the switch will cut off the dual power supply.

3. Remote control function: that is, remote control, press the "I" button; The commonly used power supply works; Press the "II" ammonium button to activate the backup power supply; Press the "0" button to cut off the dual power supply.

KGQ5-100~1600A Automatic Transfer Switch Control and Operation

◎ The logic control board manages the operation of the motor and gearbox directly installed in the switch through different logic programs to ensure the position of the switch.

The motor is a wet heat type motor insulated with polycarbonate rubber and equipped with a safety device, which trips when the temperature exceeds 110 ℃ and overcurrent occurs. Automatically put into operation after the fault disappears, the reversible reduction gear adopts spur gear.

Explanation of letters and symbols

(1) HLl and HL2 are power indicators for the common power supply and backup power supply, respectively. HD1 and HD2 respectively indicate the activation of the common power supply and backup power supply. FUl and FU2 are 2A fuses.

(2) 101-106 and 201-206 are secondary wiring terminals for automatic transfer switches
