purpose
The KGQ3 automatic power switch (hereinafter referred to as the switch) is suitable for dual power supply systems with AC 50Hz, rated working voltage of 380V, and rated working current of 1A~63A. It can be operated automatically or manually to switch between the common power supply and the backup power supply. This toggle switch is mainly used in important occasions such as hospitals, shops, banks, chemical plants, gold treatment, high-rise buildings, military facilities, etc.
Model Meaning
normal condition
1. The installation altitude shall not exceed 2000 meters.
2. The upper limit of the ambient temperature shall not exceed+40 ℃, the lower limit shall not be lower than -5 ℃, and the 24-hour average shall not exceed+35 ℃.
3. The relative humidity of the atmosphere should not exceed 50% when the surrounding air temperature is+40 ℃. At lower temperatures, there may be higher humidity, and it should be considered that humidity changes can cause condensation on the surface of the product.
4. The medium has no explosive hazard, and there is no gas or dust that can corrode or damage the insulation.
5. A place without significant shaking or impact vibration.
Basic structure
The KGQ3 automatic power switch is mainly composed of a power conversion execution circuit breaker. The switch has three status positions for users to choose from: common power supply (N) closed, double split backup power supply (R)

Installation and usage instructions
When wiring, the common power supply N should be connected to the common power supply executing circuit breaker QN, and the backup power supply R should be connected to the backup power supply executing circuit breaker QR. When QN and QR four pole circuit breakers are used, the wiring method should be as follows:

The working power of the dual power switch automatic controller is taken from the input terminals A and neutral lines N of circuit breakers QN and QR. If a three pole circuit breaker is selected, two neutral lines must be connected

operation
Manual operation can be used regardless of whether the common power supply and backup power supply have voltage. When operating manually, the manual and automatic buttons should be placed in the manual position. When the handle is pushed clockwise to the terminal, the backup power supply will open the circuit breaker QN, and the common power supply will close the circuit breaker QN; When the handle is rotated counterclockwise to the terminal, the backup power supply performs QN closing, and the common power supply performs QN circuit breaker opening.
In the panel, the power indicator light (yellow) indicates the working power supply of the automatic control box. If the light does not light up, it indicates that there is a fault in the working power supply of the automatic control box and the switch cannot be operated. After the repair is normal, place the manual and automatic buttons in the automatic position. If the common power supply is normal, the transfer switch will automatically put the power supply into the QN closing state of the circuit breaker, and the N power indicator light (green) on the panel will light up; If the commonly used power supply is not working properly, the transfer switch will automatically activate the QN circuit breaker to open and the QR closing position, and the R power indicator light (green) on the panel will light up.
maintenance
The automatic transfer switch panel is equipped with two 1A fuses and one three section terminal block. The fuses serve as short-circuit protection for the automatic control box, while the terminal block provides active power supply from the indicator signal light to the control box panel. The voltage is AC 220V and the power supply is 150Ma. Among them, 1 is the common power supply signal light power supply, and 2 is the backup power supply signal light power supply. For specific operation, please refer to the dotted line outside the control box signal light in the randomly carried wiring diagram.
