brief introduction
Sodium hypochlorite is a strong oxidant and disinfectant, which is produced by electrolyzing dilute solutions of widely available and inexpensive industrial salts or seawater without membranes. To ensure the freshness and high activity of sodium hypochlorite texture. To ensure the disinfection effect, this device adds sodium hypochlorite while it is being used. It has the same oxidizing and disinfecting properties as chlorine and its compounds.
This device is mainly used for the treatment of bacterial containing wastewater and cyanide containing electroplating wastewater in hospitals. It can also be used for disinfection of swimming pools, drinking water, domestic wastewater, food processing plant environment and medical equipment, tableware and drinking utensils in restaurants and public canteens.
With the development of China's four modernizations construction, this small-scale chlorine agent generation device will undoubtedly play an indispensable role in environmental protection engineering, water treatment and disinfection processes in China.
Equipment features
(1) The sodium hypochlorite generator is a combination form, where the dissolution of salt, the preparation of dilute salt water, the metering and dosing of sodium hypochlorite, and the circulation of sodium hypochlorite occur in one tank, with low investment, low land occupation, and flexible settings.
(2) The generator is a combination of tubular, internally cooled, unipolar, and series connected forms. The anode of the generator is made of titanium as the substrate, coated with ruthenium dioxide, with low potential and long lifespan. Under normal operating conditions, each batch lasts for 200-300 hours continuously. The process of sodium hypochlorite generation is in the form of diaphragm natural circulation, therefore, the salt utilization rate is high, the electrolysis process current efficiency is high, the sodium hypochlorite yield is high, the energy consumption is low, and the operating cost is low.
Working principle
1. The sodium hypochlorite generator is in a combination form, which is metered into the electrolytic cell through dilute salt water and electrolyzed to generate sodium hypochlorite by connecting the anode and cathode DC power through a silicon rectifier.
2. 1kg sodium hypochlorite salt consumption: 4.0-4.2; 4.3-4.5KW。
3. Saltwater solution contains several ions such as Na+and H -. According to electrolysis theory, when an electrode is inserted, under a certain voltage, the electrolyte solution undergoes conductivity due to the movement of ions and electrode reactions. At this time, negative ions such as CL - and OH - move towards the anode, while positive ions such as Na+and H+move towards the cathode and discharge on the corresponding electrode, thereby carrying out oxidation-reduction reactions and producing the corresponding substances.
The electrolysis process of saline solution can be expressed by the following reaction equation: NaCl=Na++Cl-
5. Anodic electrolysis: H2O=H+OH -2Cl-2e - → Cl2 ↑ Cathodic electrolysis: 2H -+2e - → H2 ↑
In a diaphragm free electrolysis device, except for the electrolyte and hydrogen gas solution that escape outward, the rest are in the same electrolysis cell. Due to the stirring effect of hydrogen gas on the solution during the escape process, a series of chemical reactions occur between the electrolysis products between the two poles. The reaction equation is as follows:
2NaCl+2H2O→2NaOH+H2↑+Cl2 2NaOH+Cl2→NaClO+NaCl+H2O
7. In the electrolysis of saltwater without a diaphragm, the overall equation of the solution is obtained by adding the two reaction equations listed above. NaCl+H2O+2F → NaClO+H2 ↑, where F is the Faraday electrolysis constant, with a value of 26.8 ampere hours or 96487 coulombs.
8. The sodium hypochlorite generator consists of an electrolytic cell, a silicon rectifier control cabinet, a salt dissolution tank, a cooling system, and supporting PUVC pipes, valves, water injectors, flow meters, etc. Add 3-4 dilute salt solution into the electrolytic cell, connect a 12V DC power supply, and electrolyze to produce sodium hypochlorite by adjusting the electrolysis current. The disinfectant is absorbed and mixed by a water sprayer, or measured by a metering pump and sent out through a mixer.
