When the gas flows through the gaps of the packing, it comes into contact with the packing liquid film and undergoes absorption or neutralization reaction. The packing layer can provide a sufficiently large surface area to prevent excessive resistance to gas flow. After absorption or neutralization, the gas is collected by a defogger and discharged from the tower through the outlet. The absorbent is the main medium for treating exhaust gas, and its properties and concentration are selected according to the properties of different exhaust gases. The consumption per unit of gas treated is determined by calculating the ratio of the molar flow rate of the absorbent to the inert gas. The exhaust gas is sucked in by the fan through the air duct and passes through the packing layer from bottom to top; The circulating absorbent is uniformly sprayed into the packing layer through a liquid distributor at the top of the tower, flowing downwards along the surface of the packing layer and entering the circulating water tank. Due to the continuous contact between the rising airflow and the falling absorbent in the packing, the concentration of the fluid in the rising airflow decreases, and the discharge requirements are met when it reaches the top of the tower. The liquid on the liquid film flows into the storage tank under the action of gravity and is pumped out for circulation by the circulation pump.
