In Sight 9902L is an embedded industrial line scanning system that can directly process images on the camera. Onboard processing avoids the tedious need to install additional independent controllers. In addition, the IP67 rated casing can protect the system from the effects of liquids and dust, without the need for an additional external casing.

Line scanning cameras are an ideal choice for detecting oversized or cylindrical objects on fast-moving production lines. Line scanning has many applications, the most common of which are:

• Cylindrical objects, such as car filters and batteries, can undergo 100% surface inspection in all directions when rotating on the production line
• Label inspection on curved surfaces, such as soup cans or bottle packaging, can be "unfolded" to a two-dimensional plane for inspection
• Large objects, such as solar cells and car door panels, can be imaged and inspected as a whole

The In Sight 9902L has a fast 67 kHz line rate and can collect one line of data in just 15 microseconds. This camera captures 2000 pixels per line and provides a 32MP image (16000 lines), enabling visual tools to perform highly detailed inspections.
