ID card access control systemIt is an advanced modern security management system that integrates microcomputer automatic recognition technology and modern security management measures. Widely used in commercial buildings, residential areas, schools, enterprises, etc. Access control systems are commonly used in our daily lives and work, but how much do you know about their installation? Below, the editor will share with you the installation and troubleshooting of access control systems.
1. Front end equipment
A、 Install a card reader at the entrance. Do not approach or come into contact with high-frequency or strong magnetic fields (such as heavy-duty motors, monitors, etc.) within the sensing range of the card reader, and cooperate with the grounding method of the control box.
B、 Install an exit button at the exit.
C、 The electromagnetic lock is installed on the upper edge of the door and door frame.
D、 To ensure safety and aesthetics, the controller and power box can be installed on-site or in a weak current well. The advantage of installing the controller on site is to save the use of wires. The controller is installed in the weak current well for easy maintenance and safety of the system in the future. The controller box can also be installed above the card reader, near the electromagnetic lock. The specific installation method can be chosen according to the customer's preference.
2. Central control room equipment
A、 The control host and keyboard are installed on the vertical wall or placed on the workbench.
B、 The alarm device should be placed in a location with good alarm effect.
C、 Due to the special nature of the access control system, it is required to provide good power supply for the system. It is recommended to use UPS power supply to provide centralized power supply for the access control system.
Installation of Access Control System 2: Equipment Debugging
1. After the system installation is completed, first connect the signal of one access control card reader to the host, and then separately detect the condition of the access control card reader on that path to see if there are any missed or false alarms. After confirming that there are no issues with this route, connect it to another route. This way, check each route separately, confirm that there are no errors, and then connect all the lines together.
2. Management personnel can authorize users based on their permissions. For example, some personnel can enter and exit any location at any time, while ordinary personnel can only enter and exit the authorized scope within the authorized time with their authorization card. When all access points are opened normally or illegally, check if there is a record on the control center computer.
3. If the central computer cannot connect to the controller due to malfunction or other reasons, can the controller independently record the relevant information of the controlled door points? After the central computer is connected, can all information be automatically uploaded, and can the integrity of information recording be guaranteed.
4. Keep good debugging records.
5. Finally, fill out the completion report.
Installation of access control system three: pipeline installation
1. Installation engineering wiring should comply with national regulations; Code for Construction and Acceptance of Electrical Equipment Engineering; And relevant norms and regulations issued by the state. Wiring inside pipes or cable trays should be carried out after the completion of building plastering and flooring works. Before threading, the accumulated water and debris inside the conduit or trunking should be cleaned up. Lines with different systems, voltage levels, and current categories should not be threaded in the same pipe or slot in the same trunking. Wires inside pipes or cable trays should not have joints or twists. The joints of the wires should be welded or connected with terminals inside the junction box. The small section system connection can be twisted, and the number of twisted turns should be at least five. Then, it should be tinned and wrapped with insulation tape. When pipelines pass through deformation joints in buildings (including settlement joints, expansion joints, seismic joints, etc.), compensation measures should be taken. The wires crossing the deformation joints should be fixed on both sides and leave appropriate margins. The terminals in the terminal box should be selected from terminal boards with crimping or tin soldering points, and the corresponding numbers should be indicated on the terminal blocks.
2. The access control controller should be installed firmly, not tilted, and should have clear markings. Reinforcement measures should be taken for installation on lightweight partition walls. The cables or wires introduced into the access control controller should be wired neatly, avoiding crossing, and firmly fixed. The cable cores and the corresponding wires should be labeled with numbers and not easily faded from the drawings; The terminal board and each terminal shall not have more than two wires connected; Cable cores and wires should have a margin of no less than 20cm; The wires should be tied into bundles; After the wire is introduced and threaded, it should be sealed at the incoming conduit.
3. The main power supply lead of the access control controller should be directly connected to the power supply, and it is strictly prohibited to use a power plug. The main power supply should be clearly marked; The grounding of the access control controller is firm and clearly marked.
4. The routing and specifications of the grounding busbar in the monitoring room should meet the design requirements. During construction, the following regulations should be followed: the surface of the grounding busbar should be intact, without obvious damage or residual solder slag, the copper strip busbar should be smooth and free of burrs, and the insulation layer should not have aging or cracking phenomena; The grounding busbar should be laid in the center of the ground trough or cable walkway and fixed on the outside of the rack trough. The busbar should be flat and not skewed or bent. The connection between the busbar and the rack or top of the machine should be firm and secure; The copper strip busbar on the cable walkway can be fixed with screws, and the copper stranded busbar on the cable walkway should be tied to the crossbar; The lightning protection and grounding installation of the system should be strictly constructed according to the design requirements. Grounding installation should be carried out simultaneously with civil construction.
Four troubleshooting methods for access control system failures: 1. Software testing method
1. Detection method: Start the management software, select the door in the main console, click on the detection controller, and the software operation information will prompt relevant faults. Then, you can handle according to the relevant information.
2. Real time monitoring method: Control panel - Real time monitoring, real-time monitoring corresponding to the card swiping indicator light for easy detection of card swiping failure to open the door.
3. Search. net method: Basic settings - Controller - Search. net, helps to find communication faults of TCP/IP controllers. Corresponding communication indicator lights help to find communication faults. Please turn off the firewall!
Four troubleshooting methods for access control system failures II. Hardware indicator light method
1. When powered on, we can check the power indicator light POWER and the CPU indicator light flashing to determine if the controller is in working condition.
2. When swiping the card, we can check the card light to determine if there is any card reading data transmitted to the controller.
3. By pressing the exit button, we can check if the relay indicator light clicks and determine if the controller relay output is normal.
4. When performing communication operations, check the TX and RX lights. If the TCP controller Rx (Link) light is constantly on, it indicates that there is generally no problem with the wiring. The Tx light flashing indicates that communication is in progress.
5. The flashing Err light indicates that the controller has malfunctioned, and detailed information can be obtained through software testing.
6. The video controller can also check whether the power indicator light and Rj45 port indicator light alternate flashing during ping.
7. The presence or absence of flickering in the 485 active converter can determine whether the computer is sending data.
Four Troubleshooting Methods for Access Control System Malfunctions III. Replacement Troubleshooting Method
1. Equipment replacement method: This can only be used as a reference and cannot be fully determined, because if it is caused by a certain environment or factor, it may not immediately manifest, just like human chronic diseases have a latent period, which can also cause problems after a period of time. If the suspected faulty equipment is replaced and tested separately without any problems, it may be due to environmental interference such as wiring, and the fault source should be actively searched for.
2. Computer replacement method: It can determine whether it is a problem with the customer's computer or operating system environment, virus, serial port output or settings.
3. Database and software replacement method: For example, if extracting records or uploading settings fails, generating reports fails, etc., another brand new database or software can be used to determine the scope of the problem.
Four Troubleshooting Methods for Access Control System Malfunctions Part 4: Separate Troubleshooting Method
1. With the access control controller as the core, many controlled devices can be connected externally. The quality parameters and performance of external devices vary greatly, and compatibility may cause interference, resulting in various strange phenomena. For example, when the controller restarts, ERR light flashes, or the door opens and closes abnormally, the external devices can be disconnected to see if they are normal. Then, each external device can be loaded one by one and tested to see what is causing the fault, such as three bar gates, barrier gates, electric bells, elevators, automatic doors, and various alarm devices connected to the expansion board. The solution is to install weak current isolators.
2. 485 communication method, a system has 8 controllers. You can consider disconnecting the last 4 controllers first, and then disconnecting the remaining 2 controllers to narrow down the search range. Alternatively, you can disconnect from the second controller first and link each controller to the communication line to see which one is not working.
3. The TCP controller cannot be properly connected to the client network using conventional methods. It can be tested independently from the client network using an independent switch, and if it is OK, seek support from the client network administrator to see if other network authentication restrictions are enabled.
