Nitrite can cause the breakdown of hemoglobin in the human body and may also combine with organic amines to produce carcinogenic nitrosamines, posing a threat to human health. The sanitary standards for drinking water (GB 5749-2006), groundwater quality standards (GB/T14848-9), and surface water quality standards (GB 3838-2002) all have provisions for nitrate limits.

Operation process

1) Take a prefabricated nitrate tube and add 1mL of the water sample to be tested;

2) Cover and tighten the lid, shake the prefabricated pipe evenly;

3) Open the instrument, select the corresponding nitrate measurement program, and put the processed blank into the instrument middle note to adjust to zero;

4) Take out the test tube and add 1 packet of nitrate (I) reagent;

5) Cover and tighten the lid, shake evenly, and wait for 5 minutes;

6) Clean the outer wall of the tube with dust-free paper;

7) Place the processed sample tube into the instrument for reading;
