Theoretical basis:
1. The measurement method of powder flowability is similar to the flow characteristics of powder in the filling mold cavity, which affects the production speed
Uniformity of compression and compression parts.
2. When the internal particle friction increases, its fluidity will decrease.
3. The humidity and moisture content of the powder will affect its flowability.
4. This test is used in powder manufacturing factories and parts production factories.
5. Fine powder and damp powder cannot be measured.
Required equipment:
1. Horse watch: 0.1 seconds
2. Instrument calibration can be done using one's own company's powder calibration
3. Balance: 50g 0.1g
4. Oven: 102 ℃~107 ℃
5. Do it 5 times in a row, each time not exceeding 0.4 seconds
6. Funnel angle: 60 °, funnel small hole: ψ 2.5mm 5.0mm (2.5 measuring flow rate 5.0 measuring loose density)

Theoretical basis: Fill a container with known capacity with powder, and the appearance density is equal to the weight of the powder divided by the known volume. ρ=m/v
1. Powder appearance density testing provides a criterion for evaluating the physical properties of powders.
2. The determination of appearance density is similar to the relationship between the weight of powder filled into a fixed volume of mold cavity during part manufacturing. The degree of this relationship is between the measurement results and the quality of the powder changing with each individual application.
Required equipment:
1. Density cup: outer diameter 28mm, volume π d2h/4=25 ± 0.03 cm3
2. The distance from the bottom of the funnel to the upper edge of the density cup is 25mm
3. Balance: 200g 0.01g
4. Funnel angle: 60 °, funnel small hole: ψ 2.5 ± 0.08mm
5. Appearance density: M/V=g/cm3
6. A non-magnetic scraper is used to smooth out the spilled powder
7. Precision of density to 0.01g/cm3
Note: The powder properties of the test sample may be altered by temperature, moisture, oil, stearic acid, stearic acid salts, and wax.
