Once the insulator has zero value or dirt, it must be cleaned or replaced, otherwise it will cause flashover and tripping accidents. At present, there are many methods and tools for detecting insulators, but they all belong to qualitative testing and cannot accurately detect the insulation condition of each insulator, which cannot play a preventive role.

ButHZJYZ-Z Intelligent Insulator Tester(hereinafter referred to as the detector) is a high-performance quantitative detection and analysis instrument. The operation method of this instrument is simple and fast, and it can accurately measure the resistance value of each insulator with electricity. At the same time, it can accurately distinguish insulators that have already leaked but have not yet broken through and are in critical damage. The measurement results are recorded, stored and displayed in real-time in the form of data, and it can automatically alarm low value insulators.

At the same time, based on the detection data of the entire string of insulators under different meteorological conditions, the insulation status of the entire string of insulators under different meteorological conditions can be analyzed, providing a favorable means for finding flashover accidents of unknown causes; It is also possible to conduct statistical analysis on the insulators of the entire line based on all the detection data of the entire line, in order to understand the safety of the insulation system of the entire line, and effectively evaluate it. 1. The maximum number of phases, strings per phase, and insulator pieces per string of each tower in this detector is designed according to the conventional 220KV and 500KV transmission line tension towers. For transmission lines with voltage levels of 220KV and below, each tower has 3 phases, with a maximum of 6 strings per phase and a maximum of 16 insulators per string. The detector can store detection data for up to 20 levels of tower insulators; The 500KV voltage level line has 3 phases per tower, with a maximum of 6 strings per phase and a maximum of 35 insulators per string. The detector can store detection data for up to 9 levels of tower insulators.

2. The low value alarm prompt of this detector is set according to the safety standards and regulations for power detection. Low value insulators are defined as transmission lines with a resistance value below 300M Ω for voltage levels of 220KV and below; If the insulation resistance value of a 500kV transmission line is lower than 500M Ω, it is considered a low value insulator, and an automatic alarm prompt is triggered during detection.

3. This detector has two functions: manual setting of detection tasks and computer issued detection tasks

⑴ Manually set tasks

According to the inspection task assigned by the work order, the operator manually sets up one phase, detects one phase, sets one string, and detects one string on the detector during on-site inspection (note: after setting up a phase sequence or string, at least one insulator should be detected in that phase or string, otherwise the next phase sequence or string cannot be set).

⑵ Computer assigned tasks

By connecting the computer and the detector, use random dedicated management software to directly assign the detection task to the detector. If detecting transmission lines with voltage levels of 220KV and below, a maximum of 20 towers can be assigned at a time; If inspecting a 500KV voltage level transmission line, a maximum of 9 tower tasks can be assigned. The operator only needs to select the task number and press the confirm button to perform the inspection one by one. (Note: When using this method for detection, operators are required to strictly follow the sequence of tower number, phase sequence number, and string number specified at the time of task assignment. They are not allowed to change the sequence number for detection at will, nor are they allowed to check too many or too few pieces per string. Otherwise, the detection data will be stored in a string position.).
