With the continuous updating and expansion of modern technology, higher requirements have been put forward for the reliability of power systems and high-voltage equipment. Accidents or damages to electrical equipment are usually closely related to insulation defects. The large capacity, high voltage, diversified structure, and sealing of electrical equipment require updated and higher requirements. The use of high-capacity devices is constantly increasing, and their insulation performance cannot be detected with a regular megohmmeter.

The power testing regulations require a series of insulation performance tests to be conducted on numerous power equipment such as cables, motors, generators, transformers, transformers, high-voltage switches, lightning arresters, etc. The first step is to conduct insulation resistance tests.

When testing the insulation resistance of large capacity power equipment, the insulation resistance value is related to the duration of pressurization. The longer the pressurization time, the higher the insulation resistance value. This phenomenon is called insulation absorption.   • 1. The insulation resistance tester has multiple voltage output options, including 500V, 1000V, 2500V, and 5000V. The measured resistance range can reach 0-200G Ω, and the resistance range can be automatically converted with corresponding indications.
  • 2. Two ways to synchronously display insulation resistance. The mechanical pointer adopts an ultra-thin wire structure with strong seismic resistance. The use of mechanical pointers can easily observe the range of changes in insulation resistance, while the use of dot matrix LCD screens can guide users in operating the instrument and accurately obtain measurement results.
