The plant high-pressure hydraulic conductivity measuring instrument is a powerful tool for rapid field analysis of the hydraulic conductivity of plant roots and stems. It can measure the hydraulic conductivity of branches, petioles, and roots, conduct pressure analysis of tree and crop roots, establish root water transport models and transpiration models, etc. All components of HCFM-XP Gen3 are placed in a suitcase, which is very portable and suitable for large-scale field flow measurement.

working principle
By providing stable or uniformly increasing pressure, the water flow is driven through the sample (intercepted roots, branches, or trunks, etc.), and the water resistance/conductivity of the sample is determined based on indicators such as the relationship between water flow pressure and velocity.
Main advantages
Handheld box, compact and portable
NIST calibration standard features
Real time data regression and automatic averaging calculation
Suitable for branches, petioles, and roots
