Detailed information on the German MESA carbon controller and carbon potential calculator:
The MESA carbon controller calculates the carbon potential based on the residual oxygen or carbon dioxide content in the furnace gas, and can connect two probes simultaneously to accurately measure the carbon content in the atmosphere of the heat treatment furnace, greatly improving the quality of the heat-treated products.
The MESA carbon controller can directly calculate and control carbon potential through Lambda signals, without the need to convert them into ordinary oxygen probe signals (almost all other carbon controllers on the market can only control carbon through ordinary oxygen probe signals). That is to say, the original system can be replaced with a Lambda probe (with a lifespan several times that of a regular oxygen probe), a heating power supply (NTV44P), and a MESA carbon controller (which calculates and controls carbon potential directly through Lambda signals).
Models include
Intelligent carbon controllercarbo-100
Multiple types of sensors can be connected to calculate carbon potential and control it based on input signals of residual oxygen or carbon dioxide content in the furnace. The available inputs include: thermocouple signal, lambda probe signal, oxygen probe signal, carbon dioxide analyzer, carbon monoxide numerical output signal 0.. 20mA or 4.. 20mA corresponding to 0.. 1.5% C. It can be connected to pneumatic valves or solenoid valves.
Single channel measurement and control systemcarbomat-M
Used for calculating and controlling the carbon potential in the furnace using multiple connection methods, it can be connected to O2-,/O2+CO -,/CO2- input signals and two thermocouples (S-type or K-type)
