Product Introduction

This valve is mainly suitable for water supply and drainage, fire protection, HVAC and other systems. It is installed at the outlet of the water pump and can be quickly closed when the pump is stopped to prevent backflow and water hammer damage to the pump, achieving the purpose of noise reduction and equipment protection. The internal flow channel is streamlined, with low pressure loss and short opening and closing stroke of the valve disc.

Working principle

When this valve is in operation, liquid enters from the inlet (arrow direction) and pushes open valve disc ③ to flow towards the outlet. When the pump is stopped, the liquid flow rate in the outlet pipeline rapidly slows down and a reverse reflux with gradually increasing flow rate occurs. At this time, valve disc ③ quickly closes under the action of spring ④. At the same time, due to the guiding (diverging) effect of the guiding fluid ⑥ on the reflux liquid, the pressure on the back of the valve disc is greatly reduced, thereby preventing water hammer and achieving a silent effect.
