Installation diagram of water meter:
Installation instructions:
1. The selection of water meter diameter should be based on the diameter of the pipeline at the installation location and the flow rate being equal to or less than the commonly used flow rate of the water meter;
2. A straight pipe section with a diameter greater than 10 times DN should be left in front of the table, and a diameter greater than 5 times DN should be left behind the table (DN is the diameter of the table);
3. The installation location should be chosen in a place that is convenient for disassembly and easy to read the water meter measurement data. It should avoid exposure to sunlight, rain, water, pollution, and environments with external magnetic interference. During periods of freezing, in addition to wrapping the water meter and water pipe, when not in use, close the inlet valve of the water meter and open the outlet valve and faucet to prevent damage to the water meter due to freezing expansion;
4. During installation (especially for new pipe sections), it is necessary to avoid the entry of debris such as hemp thread, tape, sand and gravel into the water meter pipeline, which may cause measurement failures of the water meter;
5. During installation, in order to measure accurately, the water meter outlet pipe should be installed no less than 0.5 meters higher than the water meter, and a valve should be installed on the pipe in front of the water meter so that the water source can be turned off when disassembling the water meter. The water meter should not be directly connected to the pipeline. There should be flexible joints between the water meter and the pipeline (such as pipe joints, connecting nuts, connecting gaskets, etc.). When disassembling and assembling the water meter, do not forcefully pull it to avoid damaging the water meter;
6. During installation, the water flow indicator arrow on the watch case must be aligned with the direction of water flow. The installation method must be installed horizontally or vertically as indicated on the water meter reading plate, with the reading plate facing upwards;
7. If the water meter is installed at the inlet pipe of a boiler or solar water heater, it should be prevented from being damaged by backflow of hot water.
Transportation and Storage:
1. Transportation:After the instrument is packed, it should be transported by means of non strong vibration transportation. During transportation, it should not be directly affected by rain, frost, fog, etc. It should be placed upwards according to the markings and not be damaged by compression or impact. The environmental conditions for transportation shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of JB/T9329 standard;
2. Storage:The product should be stored indoors in a dry, well ventilated environment, without strong magnetic fields, and without corrosive media in the air. The ambient temperature is between 5 ℃ and 50 ℃, and the relative humidity is not greater than 90%.
