Super gain detector
Compared to previous models, GCMS-TQ8050 can generate the same high signal strength even with fewer ions reaching the detector. This means that it can achieve reliable trace analysis with fewer ions.
Off axis design
Off axis design effectively suppresses neutral noise, eliminates interference from metastable helium ions and neutral ions, and achieves higher sensitivity.
Electromagnetic Shielding
By installing a secondary electron multiplier tube shielding cover, the electromagnetic interference outside the detector can be reduced.
OD Lens
Installing an OD lens in front of the electron multiplier tube can reduce the random noise of helium and argon. After applying voltage to the lens group, it helps to focus the target ions selected by the quadrupole, and can also correct the edge field, thereby further improving the signal-to-noise ratio (patent number US6737644).

Oil free pre stage vacuum pump is available for selection, 3-year maintenance free. This front-end pump can keep the internal vacuum system of the mass spectrometer in an oil-free environment, while eliminating the need for frequent maintenance operations such as changing pump oil.
