G41W-21F diaphragm valve
Name: Pneumatic Diaphragm Valve
model: BDG-21F
Specifications: DN15~DN80
Valve body material: 316/316L
Drive type: Pneumatic control (normally open, normally closed, double acting)
Maximum operating temperature: 150 ℃
Environmental temperature:- 10℃~60℃
Maximum working pressure: 10 bar
Drive mode: manual, pneumatic
Sealing material: polytetrafluoroethylene, nitrile non-toxic rubber
Applicable media: EPDM steam, PTFE water, water, pharmaceuticals, oil, steam, neutral gases or liquids, dairy products, organic solvents, acid-base solvents, etc
Widely used in fields such as food, pharmaceuticals, beer, beverages, biotechnology, water treatment, daily chemical, mechanical equipment, automation equipment, etc
Characteristics of Pneumatic Diaphragm Valve:
1. The opening and closing components of the elastic seal, the valve body sealing weir groove adopts an arc-shaped design structure to ensure no internal leakage;
2. Streamlined flow channels reduce resistance;
3. The valve body and cover are separated by a middle diaphragm, so that the valve cover, valve stem and other parts above the diaphragm are not corroded by the medium;
4. The diaphragm is replaceable and has low maintenance costs
5. Visual position display switch status
6. Multiple surface polishing techniques, no dead corners, and no residue in normal position.
7. Compact structure, suitable for small spaces.
8. The membrane complies with the safety standards set by authoritative organizations such as DFA and UPS for the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Installation and maintenance of pneumatic diaphragm valve:
① Before installing the diaphragm valve, carefully check whether the operating conditions of the pipeline are consistent with the specified range of use of this valve, and clean the inner cavity to prevent dirt from blocking or damaging the sealing components.
② Do not apply grease on the rubber lining layer and rubber diaphragm surface to prevent rubber swelling and affect the service life of the diaphragm valve.
③ Handwheels or transmission mechanisms are not allowed for lifting purposes and collisions are strictly prohibited.
④ When manually operating the diaphragm valve, auxiliary levers should not be used to prevent excessive torque from damaging the driving components or sealing parts.
⑤ Diaphragm valves should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and stacking is strictly prohibited. The channels at both ends of inventory diaphragm valves must be sealed, and the opening and closing components should be in a slightly open state.
The structural form of pneumatic diaphragm valve is very different from that of general valves. It relies on soft rubber molds or plastic films to control fluid movement. The working principle is shown in the following figure.
Characteristics and selection of pneumatic diaphragm valve:
(1) Low fluid resistance.
(2) Can be used for media containing hard suspended solids; Due to the fact that the medium only comes into contact with the valve body and diaphragm, there is no need for a stuffing box, and there is no problem of stuffing box leakage, which may cause corrosion to the valve stem.
(3) Suitable for corrosive, viscous, and slurry media.
(4) Cannot be used in high-pressure situations.
