Furniture factory spray painting exhaust gas treatment,Woodworking spray painting exhaust gas treatment equipment,Spray painting VOCS exhaust gas treatment equipment:
Process flow of furniture factory exhaust gas treatment equipment: After positive and negative pressure ventilation, the exhaust gas from the paint workshop of the furniture factory is filtered through a water curtain to remove paint mist, absorbed by a secondary spray tower, and then passed through a UV photocatalytic oxidation device. After passing through an activated carbon adsorption device, it is discharged in compliance with standards.
Introduction to Pollution Sources of Spray Paint and Diluents in Furniture Factories:
The main components of paint are film-forming substances (all using resins such as epoxy resin, acrylic resin, etc.), pigments (titanium dioxide, iron red, carbon black, etc.), additives (matting powder, leveling agent, etc.), and solvents (in layman's terms, the effect is the same as adding water to cement, sand and gravel, playing a blending and dilution role; such as banana oil, gasoline, alcohol, etc.). Additives, resins, and pigments all adhere to the surface of furniture and solidify without volatilization. All solvents have evaporated. When in use, it is also necessary to add diluents to the purchased paint products, usually using organic solvents, in order to reduce the viscosity of the paint and improve its performance. The resin can be mixed. Paint diluents are mainly divided into two types: non reactive diluents and reactive diluents, and the diluents used for different types of paints are also different.
The main components of paint thinner are as follows:
(1) Hydrocarbon solvents, aliphatic hydrocarbons: 200 solvent gasoline, kerosene; Aromatic hydrocarbons: benzene, toluene, xylene, 200 coal tar solvents, etc;
(2) Ester solvents: ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, pentyl acetate, etc;
3) Ketone solvents: acetone, butanone, cyclopentanone, methyl isobutyl ketone, etc;
(4) Alcoholic solvents: methanol, ethanol, butanol, etc;
(5) Alcohol ether solvents: ethylene glycol ether, ethylene glycol butyl ether, diethylene glycol ether, etc.
During the use of paint and thinner, it is not a single solvent, usually a mixture of several types of solvents. For example, commonly used banana water generally contains 15% n-butyl acetate, 15% ethyl acetate, 10-15% n-butanol, 10% ethanol, 5-10% acetone, 20% benzene, and 20% xylene. According to various reports on paint composition, the paint itself contains solvents ranging from 10-30%. According to the composition report of Chengdu Zhanchen Chemical Company's PU high transparency seven point matte finish provided by Mazu Furniture Factory, the total amount of toluene, xylene, and ethylbenzene in the paint is 10-22%, which means the solvent addition in the paint is 10-22%. If the paint and diluent are mixed in a 1:1 ratio, using 1kg of paint and adding 1kg of diluent will produce 1kg × (10-22%)+1kg of organic waste gas.

Send the exhaust gas to the water washing tower and use water spray for washing. This process is more often focused on the treatment of spray paint mist, resulting in low efficiency and poor effectiveness in treating organic waste gases. Wastewater recycling, long-term circulation, no adsorption efficiency after saturation of organic matter in wastewater. Wastewater is also difficult to treat. This process is not the first choice in actual production, environmental management, and environmental impact assessment guidance, but only serves as an auxiliary facility to complement other facilities.
Activated carbon adsorption process: The waste gas is pumped into an adsorption tower filled with activated carbon, and the organic waste gas is adsorbed through the pores of the activated carbon. Generally, 1 ton of activated carbon adsorbs about 200kg of organic waste gas and saturates it. The adsorption effect of activated carbon can reach 85%. But when saturated and ineffective, there will be hidden dangers in environmental management and supervision. Manufacturers need to strengthen technical management and calculate the saturation time of activated carbon based on the amount of diluent used. According to the data provided by Dongfang Supply Network, the wholesale volume of activated carbon is 4000 yuan/ton. Whether the manufacturer will consciously spend money on replacement is a question that needs to be considered.
Catalytic combustion: Generally, there is a complete set of catalytic combustion devices. Simply put, the exhaust gas is pumped to the catalytic combustion device and fully burned under the conditions of auxiliary fuel and catalyst to achieve the purpose of treatment. The processing efficiency is greater than 95%, the operation is stable, and the one-time investment is relatively high.
Biological filtration method: When exhaust gas passes through a packing layer with a biofilm attached, organic components are absorbed by microorganisms and oxidized into harmless inorganic substances. The conversion process is completed by anaerobic microorganisms in the presence of oxygen and neutral or slightly alkaline conditions. Generally, the final decomposition product of organic matter is CO2. The processing efficiency can reach 90%. But the packing needs to be replaced, which incurs high operating costs. This treatment method is suitable for treating low concentration organic waste gas. When the flow rate of the waste gas fluctuates greatly, it is easy to cause insufficient residence time of the waste gas in the equipment, resulting in a decrease in treatment efficiency.
