1、 Working principle:
The hardness of water is mainly composed of cations such as calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. When the raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer of the exchanger, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water are replaced by the sodium ions in the resin. The resin adsorbs the calcium and magnesium ions, and the sodium ions enter the water. In this way, the water flowing out of the exchanger is softened water without hardness ions. As the exchange process continues, all Na+ions in the resin are removed and the exchange function is lost. At this time, NaCl solution must be used to regenerate the resin, replacing the Ca2+and Mg2+adsorbed by the resin. The resin re adsorbs sodium ions and restores its softening exchange ability.
Purpose:Mainly used for industrial and civilian softened water preparation, such as boiler feedwater, air conditioning system makeup water, heat exchangers, power plants, chemical, textile, biopharmaceutical, electronic, and pure water system pretreatment.
IIControl method:
1. Single tank time type: using microcomputer time control, the equipment automatically enters the regeneration state after running to the set time, and can be regenerated once a day or multiple days.
2. Single tank flow type: It adopts turbine flow control or electronic flow sensor control. When the equipment's water production reaches the preset flow rate, it automatically enters the regeneration state and can be regenerated multiple times a day (determined by the user's water consumption).
3. Double tank flow type: This type is further divided into one backup and one use type and simultaneous working regeneration type. One for backup and one for use: One tank runs and the other for backup. When the water output of the first running tank reaches the set flow rate, it enters the regeneration stage, while the other backup tank enters the working state. In this way, the two tanks work alternately for regeneration, and both tanks can supply water 24 hours a day without interruption; Two tanks work simultaneously, and after reaching the flow rate, one regenerates first and the other continues to discharge water. After the regeneration of the first tank is completed, it enters the working state, and the other enters the regeneration state. After both tanks have regenerated, they enter the simultaneous working state again.
