The FlexE series expansion I/O is an extension of the integrated RTU product of Sichuan Ankang Technology Co., Ltd., which enhances the expansion function of the integrated RTU. The FlexE series expansion I/O products can be used independently as remote I/O, or as expansion modules for Super32 series RTUs combined with integrated RTUs. This series of I/O products has standard communication interfaces, which can be easily integrated with standard products from other companies.
The FlexE series expansion I/O products from Ankang Technology, with their excellent performance and high flexibility, not only enrich the application scope and fields of integrated RTUs, but also enable all automation integrated RTUs to be expanded at low cost, greatly reducing the cost of system expansion. Wireless communication technology is also a major feature of this series of products. The FlexE series expansion I/O can be connected to the automation system through advanced wireless communication network technology, eliminating construction costs caused by wiring.
The FlexE products of Ankang Technology are divided into the FlexE 31X, FlexE 51X, and FlexE 53X series. The FlexE 31X is a remote I/O module that can be extended through RS485 and CAN, while the FlexE 51X is a remote I/O module that can be extended through Zigbee. The FlexE 53X can serve as the CPU for the FlexE series remote I/O modules.

CAN bus extension
In the data measurement and control stations of oil and gas production well sites, pipeline networks, and other industries, the FlexE 31X series I/O modules are used as extensions of RTUs and other controllers to supplement the insufficient number of I/O points. Up to four I/O modules can be expanded through the CAN bus. Industrial grade design, no need for fans or heating equipment inside the chassis, can be directly installed for outdoor use.
RS485 bus connection
The FlexE 31X series I/O modules can be applied to industries such as agriculture and water conservancy. We use RTU controllers or industrial servers as the main control unit, adopt RS485 serial bus, with a maximum laying distance of 1200 meters, and each 485 interface can connect up to 31 I/O modules, which can effectively reduce inconvenience such as multiple cables and large construction volume.
The FlexE 31X can also be connected to SCADA system as a remote terminal through RS485 interface or with DTU, data transmission radio, etc., and directly exchange data with HMI.
