Fixed liquid poolIt is a specialized accessory for infrared spectrophotometers, used to measure volatile liquid samples that cannot be measured by detachable cells. The fixed pool window panel is made of KBr material, with a transmission wavelength of 2.5-25 µ m. If there are special requirements, window panel materials such as CaF2, NaCl, KRS-5, etc. can also be equipped. We installed PTFE pads between two window panels, with a nominal thickness of to prevent liquid leakage.

Fixed liquid poolBefore and after use, as well as when using different samples, cleaning agents such as acetone or carbon tetrachloride must be used for cleaning. When using injection needles for operation, do not mix samples and clean the needles with cleaning agents at any time. If the infrared spectrophotometer is a dual beam instrument, a solvent pool should be placed in the reference light path during measurement to remove the solvent background.

Attention: 1. The assembly of the fixed pool is quite complex, so be very careful to avoid damaging the window panels.

When storing, remove the inlet and outlet plugs of the fixed pool, use good desiccants for other components, and store them in a dry container.
