Fiberglass RO water tank
Fiberglass RO water tank
Product details
Application scenarios of fiberglass RO water tank products:
Fiberglass RO water tanks are generally used in ultra pure water systems. When a buffer water tank is required after a mixed bed or EDI deionization equipment, it is often preferred to use a fiberglass RO water tank as the buffer tank.
How ultrapure water is contaminated in the air:
As is well known, air contains impurities such as carbon dioxide, bacteria, and dust, and ultrapure water is a pure solvent with strong solubility for these impurities. Therefore, once ultrapure water comes into contact with air, its electrical resistivity will rapidly decrease. Practice has shown that ultrapure water with a resistivity of 15M Ω· cm or more will drop to 3-4M Ω· cm after being exposed to air for 1 minute, and then to around 2M Ω· cm after 3 minutes. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the chance of contact between ultrapure water and air.
Common methods to prevent air pollution of ultrapure water containers:
Nitrogen filling method: that is, filling nitrogen gas on the water surface of the water tank to maintain an appropriate positive pressure inside the tank, preventing the atmosphere from contacting the water surface inside the tank.
Thin film bag method: a bag shaped film is placed inside the water tank to cover the water surface, and the film bag increases or decreases with the water level, reducing the contact area between the water surface and the air.
Top method: A lightweight material with a density lighter than water is used to make a whole plate-shaped floating roof in a water tank and float it on the water surface. The gap between the floating roof and the box is covered with lightweight elastic materials (such as sponge, foam plastic, etc.), and the floating roof rises and falls with the water surface. Thereby reducing the chance of contact between air and water surface.
Among the three methods mentioned above, the fiberglass RO water tank is the most common, the simplest to implement, and the most effective.
Composition of fiberglass RO water tank:
Nitrogen source: Usually, clean high-pressure nitrogen cylinders, nitrogen generators, and existing clean compressed nitrogen gas in factories can be selected
Sealed water tank: The ultrapure water tank must be fully sealed to prevent nitrogen leakage and prevent air from entering the tank and contaminating the ultrapure water.
Control system: When is nitrogen filled? How much to charge? The water replenishment equipment in front needs to be shut off when the water tank is full, and the post-treatment system needs to be shut down for protection until the water level is normal when the water level in the tank is low... All of these require a fully automatic program to coordinate and control to ensure that ultrapure water is not polluted by the atmosphere.
